Karim: My name is Karim and I have worked in the payroll profession for 25 years. After having worked at large international companies for many years, in 2016 I moved into secondment. My informed decision to start working at Salarisjobs has proven to be a good choice and since joining I have carried out assignments on behalf of two large international customers. As a payroll consultant, at our current customer I am responsible for the entire payroll for several entities. Part of my portfolio involves managing various EMEA countries and my primary focus is on the Nordic countries, UK, Belgium, Spain and Ukraine.

As well as dealing with the payroll for local employees, I also have a great deal of involvement with expats. In my role, I am responsible for ensuring that employees are paid correctly and also that payments made by the employer are correct. As well as correct and timely payroll processing, the customer requires me to ensure that the processes always run smoothly and welcomes input on possible improvements. I am also a source of information for payroll specialists and the HR service team.
