The Senior Payroll Specialist is part of the HR Shared Services Team for the Benelux in 70 countries with 170.000 employees.

Organisatie- en afdelingsomschrijving

  • This role is responsible for supporting the accurate preparation of the Payroll. 
  • Serves as a liaison with other departments, units or locations in the resolution of payroll problems. 
  • Recommends changes in method or procedures to improve the efficiency of the payroll function. 
  • Next to the Payroll responsibilities the specialist will also work on application management of the HR and Payroll System AFAS-Profit.


Functieomschrijving

  • Process salary administration for dedicated clients;
  • Process salary administration effectively in order to;
  • Reach monthly payroll closing deadlines;
  • Be comply with internal audit rules;
  • Be in line with legislation, sector agreements and internal agreements;
  • Provide reporting in time to companies;
  • Provide support to the HR teams in the resolution of employee issues;
  • Responds to the HR and Finance team inquiries related to Payroll. Triages, tracks and follows up to problem resolution;
  • Management of parameters in AFAS-Profit (payroll, HRIS, other);
  • Create new workflows to automate HR and Payroll processes;

Functie-eisen

  • Relevant Payroll degree (PDL and VPS) and proficient knowledge of HR and payroll processes;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a Payroll position;
  • AFAS-Profit and AFAS-Insite knowledge is an advantage;
  • Demonstrated strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks and meet scheduled deadlines;
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Proactive and self-starter mindset;
  • High level of integrity and self-awareness;
  • Interest in HRIS, data analytics and reporting;
  • Administrative, project management and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English in order to operate effectively at different levels within the organization.

Aanbod

  • Functie voor 40 uur, 32 uur is bespreekbaar; 
  • 25 vakantiedagen en 12 ADV-dagen; 
  • Een bruto maandsalaris van max. € 4000,- op basis van 40 uur;
